Practice work

So before we actually started working on a Film Opening our first task was to instead work on an advertisement for a product. After a bit of debating we chose Lays since it was rather affordable (as compared to something like Pringles which was more than 10 times the cost) and we could just eat it later too.

The meeting was held on Nov 19th via Zoom for location and also for deciding product.

Lays being the product and Argentina Park being the location.

On November 21st we arrived on scene and it was sunny out, luckily not raining. Perfect.

We settled at a time of 4pm to arrive on scene and everyone arrived. And we just used a phone for filming. We didn't have a stand or anything at the time so instead I provided a stool and my groupmates just kept the shot stable via handheld.

I really wish cameras didn't change focus so much. It felt impossible to work with in the edit which I explained further on in my next post.

Note from future me editing:
Manual focus adjustment isn't possible. But manual focus lock is. And you (which is just me but a few months younger) were really dumb for not realizing how to actually do it.

I'll put an empty packet of Lays in the fridge so when you grab one thinking its full its actually empty.
Suffer for your actions. You have none to blame but yourself.
