I should mention that for my first idea which was of the heist, I had thought of a Museum. We obviously didn't have a means to get a bank or even a store to agree to what we're doing and we could've done a house but then later when the robbers are shown to be running there has to be some getaway location. Somewhere remote.
It was originally planned to be a home but then when I told my mother about this she told me about the Golra Sharif Railway Museum. There's train tracks right next to the actual museum which is perfect to make it seem like they escaped to that location to try and lay low.
The trip was fun. I learnt much more than I expected to about trains. Though not only did the idea later get scrapped, the location was also unsuitable. It was open fenced. The railway part. Not the actual building. So children from all over the neighborhood were there and so were tourists. And the actual building was closed due to COVID. And the idea for the robbery was scrapped later anyways.
Back to current location. A house. I couldn't really use mine because the lighting in it was absolutely horrible and the bedroom didn't look that much like a bedroom either (I do a lot of DIY things in my free time. If you're looking at this after looking at my CCR Part 4 then, the computer wasn't the only thing I built myself. The table was also built by my own hands and it cost no more than 7 Pounds. And I've been using it everyday for 2 years.)
So I first wanted to ask relatives that were within the city but my parents didn't permit me to because of privacy reasons and that you shouldn't show someone's home. I didn't understand but didn't argue further. So I asked about a relative living quite far away and they were fine with it. Apparently since the location was far away nobody would be able to recognize it.
Sometimes I wonder if that paranoia was justified or was it just a made up excuse
Anyways. I contacted my cousin. First asking him if he wanted to do acting. He was fine with it. The language which was going to be spoken was English and he'd spent 6 years in Australia and picked up an accent, more or less. Which made him perfect for the job. He then asked permission from his parents if they were fine with using their house for filming, which they were. Though it was a 40 minute drive away the location was still a good one and we had settled on it.
So now we had both a main actor and a location. Good progress.
